In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus made an interesting statement regarding the end of this age. Jesus stated that at the end of this age, Kingdom would rise up against Kingdom. What you need know about this is that Jesus was not talking about earthly Kingdoms, He was taking about spiritual Kingdoms. Jesus wanted us to know that at the end of days, the whole world would be at war. Locked in a battle between two Kingdoms. The Kingdom of God, against the Kingdom of Satan. Now how do I know that? I want you to notice that he did not use the plural word for Kingdom. He did not say that there would be various kingdoms to rise up against one another. He said kingdom would rise up against kingdom. There would only be two kingdoms. It would be the kingdom of God verses the kingdom of the devil. Never has their been a time in history that I can remember that the kingdom of God has been under so much attack. It s...

Luke 7:9When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel .” 10 Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well. Scripture tells us that there are at least 4 kinds of faith. Dead faith - a faith that really does not believe... It all talk, but is dead in that it expresses no corresponding actions . James said faith without works is dead. (James 2:14 ) Small or Little faith - Little faith… Matthew 8:26 , 14:31 , “ Oh ye of little faith ” (KJV). This is the faith that puts a limitation on what the Lord can do . Fear hinders faith. Common Faith - Faith that we were born with. To each man was given a measure of faith Great Faith - Faith that understands the authority of God (as expressed through the Lord Jesus) and understands the power that comes from the Word of God . Life changing, world altering faith...

To be sure, the Black Church should address the concerns of those within their community. However, movements such as the Justice or Else movement, and the Black Live Matters movement, do not fit within the message of the Christian faith. In fact, most, if not all of the rhetoric that define these movements, is decidedly anti-Christian. So the question that begs an answer is: Why do some Black Christian Churches support such radical agendas? The Bible is very clear on how Christians should respond to unfair treatment and questionable ordinances. Certainly, there is nothing wrong with peaceful demonstrations within the law. However, under the Black Lives Matter and Justice or Else agenda, many Black Christians have abandoned the teaching of Jesus Christ, for the teaching of men like Louis Farrakhan. This should not be. The Christian Church has a mandate to be seperate from the world rather than influenced by it. According ...

15 Surprising Things Atheists are Saying about Pope Francis Well, Pope Francis is on his way to the USA and people are talking! Including the media—which has it’s downsides. Sr. Helena Burns posted this funny meme today: Whatever you might think of the Pope Francis, it’s hard to deny the fact that people are listening to him; if not his words, certainly his example. I heard someone say, when Pope Francis embraced that man covered with tumors , the world changed! Beautiful. Among those being moved by Pope Francis are atheists. What do you think? Is this what Jesus said would be the attitude of worldly people with regard to Christians? Look at several scriptures concerning the prospect of being popular as a Christian: John 15: 18 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of th...

Demons: Ancient Superstition or Historical Reality? BY WAYNE JACKSON As one begins a perusal of the New Testament, he encounters an unusual phenomenon known as demon possession. The first Gospel writer recorded these words: And the report of him [Jesus] went forth into all Galilee: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with demons, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them (Mt. 4:24, ASV ). From this point on, there are numerous references to demons or demon possession in the New Testament. (“Devils,” as found in the King James Version, is an incorrect rendition. The Greek word for devil is diabolos . Other terms, daimonizomai (found thirteen times), daimon (once), daimoniodes (once), and daimonion (sixty-three times), are transliterated as “demon(s)” (or some equivalent) in the American Standard Version. There is only one devil, but many demons.) Critics...
